One-Time Volunteer Opportunity
Welcome Volunteers!
If you are searching for a one-time opportunity to volunteer in the community, there is an upcoming event that may interest you. The Fourth Annual Project Homeless Connect (PHC) event is scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm at the Hargraves Center in Chapel Hill.
This event is a one-day, one-stop opportunity for people living in Orange County who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to receive a number of various services free of cost. Some services include: medical, dental, housing information, social service benefits, legal services, mental health care and many other services. Services are held in close proximity to make it easier to get care and information.
Many volunteers are needed to help with set up, running the event and clean up. If you are interested in getting more information about this event and/or volunteer opportunities, please visit the website at www.phc-orange.org
Thank you for your support of the IFC and for your continued volunteer commitments that make our everyday lives of service more productive and rewarding.
