Receptionist - Thursday Afternoons Needed

A volunteer is needed for Thursday afternoons in our Outreach Program at 110 W. Main Street in Carrboro. If you have a strong desire to work with all people, we have an opening as receptionist in our Carrboro office. The receptionist answers the phone, welcomes clients, registers clients and assists volunteers/clients with questions and services.

This position reports to our Community Services Director. Hours of volunteering are typically from 1 - 5 pm. If you are interested in this position, please feel free to email volunteer@ifcmailbox.org or call 919.929.6380 x. 30. Thank you for considering this and all volunteer openings at the IFC.

Volunteer Orientation

We had an outstanding attendance this week at orientation. Over 22 potential volunteers attended the session. There are many opportunities at the IFC, and we try to place our volunteers in a 2-3 week time frame.
